The attraction of going hunting in Poland is still enormous. You only have to cross Germany to enter Europe’s most popular hunting country.
In addition to the accessibility, the amount of game is an important asset. Red deer, wild boar, fallow deer and mouflons can already be found just across the border in large sounders, packs and herds.
Hunting traditions are highly regarded by the Polish people. You will experience this at first hand after having bagged your big roebuck or stag. Darz Bór!
Passionate roe deer hunters undoubtedly have 11 May marked in their diaries. This is when roebuck hunting season starts, which hunters from far and wide have been looking forward to. The peak takes place at the end of July to mid-August during the rut.
For red deer the rut begins in mid-September. In some places, the roaring stag can be heard even earlier. Immediately afterwards, the big rifle scope is replaced by a smaller model for the classic driven hunts. This thrilling form of hunting sharpens all the senses and must be experienced by every hunter.
The season ends with hunting non-trophy animals, which usually lasts until mid-January. With the exception of wild boar, which can be hunted all year round.
