Here, it is not like at home, where you are busy looking after your own hunting ground almost every day. That worry is taken out of your hands. Everything is arranged so all you have to do is relax and focus on the hunt.

Hunting area

The 540-hectare hunting ground has a very hilly character. Deciduous forest and pine trees gain additional cover at lower levels from young beech, douglas fir and thorny bushes. The abundance of water has also made red deer a resident species, as well as wild boar and roe deer.

The sporty hunter can stalk together with his guide during the morning or evening. Your guide is flexible and he knows the places where you have to be in order to spot game.

You can also hunt from the high seat. The forester has provided 25 sturdy stands in his hunting ground. The same number of high-seated ladders are spread across the area. You can sit at the surrounding meadows or at a clearing in the woods where the bucks come out.

Hunting season

In Czech Republic, the roebuck hunting season runs from 1 May to 30 September. We keep 15 August as the end date, right after the rut. Then you will have had the two best times for roebucks: during the spring hunt in May and of course the summer rut.

Every season has its charms. After months of relative calm, green spring is the period that hunters have long been looking forward to. From the very first day, you can sit down and get a nice spring buck.

From half of July, roe deer fever is slowly rising to a peak. And not only among the hunters. Those who can make a roe deer call during the rut hold the key to success. Don’t worry if you haven’t mastered this skill, your guide knows the right tone to make the roebucks jump.

Travel details

The accessibility of the Czech Republic will undoubtedly be seen as an advantage by many hunters. By car, there are easily passable, toll-free roads with no paperwork at the border. But you can also travel to Prague by plane. Let us know your arrival time and we will arrange a driver to take you to the hotel.

Your accommodation is only five minutes from the hunting ground. A delicious breakfast is served here every morning after the hunt. The other meals are served in the hunting lodge by an excellent cook. She is highly skilled in preparing the most delicious game dishes and Czech specialities. You will still be singing her praises when you get home.

Furthermore, you will hunt in a privately owned estate. No intermediaries or difficult language barriers – the hunting ground owner is your direct contact who speaks fluent English. Together with his team, he personally ensures that you will not want for anything on this Czech adventure.

If you arrive on Friday, you can take a place in the high seat or stalk the same evening. On Saturday and Sunday, a morning and evening session are planned each day, with the sixth and final outing on Monday morning. Then it is time to return home with a sense of satisfaction after the hunt.
