Roe deer are the most common big game species in Europe. In most countries, roebuck hunting starts in May. After a few months of hunting silence, this is the perfect opportunity to bag a nice roebuck.
At the end of July and the beginning of August the red summer buck is hunted during the rut. For many hunters, rutting time is the highlight of roe hunting. In autumn and winter, roe does and calves are hunted in order to keep the populations at an acceptable level.
In Germany, you can enjoy a wonderful weekend hunting from the high seat. But it is also possible to spend a few days stalking with friends in Poland, Romania, Latvia or the Czech Republic.
